God’s Pantry Food Bank is seeking an AmeriCorps VISTA Member to work as an integral part of the Development Department with major emphasis on building corporate support through a targeted fundraising campaign. The Goal of the Corporate Campaign Coordinator is to build involvement in a target fundraising campaign throughout God’s Pantry Food Bank’s 50‐county service area. Position Tasks:  Design print materials campaign communication materials  Manage communication with campaign participants  Research potential campaign participants and build participation  Provide oversight to the campaign and provide assistance and information to campaign participants  Seek and secure vendor resource sponsors to boost campaign involvement  Maintain up‐to‐date records and track and regularly report on progress
Qualifications: 4‐Year College degree, or a comparable combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Nonprofit or fundraising experience a plus. Good communication skills, attention to detail is critical. Exceptional people and relationship skills necessary. Flexibility handling multiple tasks is a must. This person must work well in a team atmosphere and be dedicated to the mission of God’s Pantry Food Bank; and share a concern for the issues of hunger and poverty and their solutions. The position may involve light to moderate lifting. Good driving record. Time Commitment: This is a full time position. (40 hours per week); Must be available some evenings and weekends.
