Marie-France, a native French Canadian from Montreal, moved to Kentucky with her family in 2011. Since moving to Lexington, she continued her lyrical career by being a frequent soloist with ensembles such as The Kentucky Bach Choir, The Lexington Singers, Bourbon Baroque and the UK Opera Theater. She has sung with prestigious Canadian orchestras and ensembles and presented her work in a lecture recital at the University of Oxford in June 2026. As much as performing, Marie-France is passionate about vocal pedagogy and trains the next generation of singers and vocal educators. Her students have regularly won the NATS vocal competitions, and her students have been accepted to graduate schools including the Curtis Institute of Music, the Eastman School of Music, the Peabody Institute to name just a few. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Université de Montréal and her Doctorate from the University of Kentucky. She is passionate about music and vocal technique and is thrilled to embark as Associate Professor of Voice with the wonderful students and faculty at Asbury University!
