BIO Kiki Yee grew up in Florida and currently lives in Wilmore, Kentucky with her dog Aspen. As an undergraduate student at Asbury, she served as a challenge course facilitator, canoeing and backpacking trip instructor, and climbing gym manager. Since graduating from Asbury with a B.A. in Adventure Education and Leadership in 2018, she has worked in many different capacities, such as rock-climbing gym instructor, environmental education instructor, challenge course facilitator, and field guide for multiple wilderness therapy programs across the country. Kiki also has over a full year of backpacking field days. She came back to work at Asbury in the Summer of 2023. Kiki is a Leave No Trace Level 2 Instructor, an American Canoe Association Level 3 Canoe Instructor, an American Mountain Guide Association Single-Pitch Instructor, and a Wilderness First Responder through Wilderness Medical Associates International. Her favorite things to do outside are chasing sunsets, exploring God’s beautiful creation, backpacking, fire-building, and hiking with her dog.
