Mark holds a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies and Evaluation from the University of Kentucky, an MA in Student Personnel Administration from Ball State University and a BS from Grace College. Mark has 27 years experience in Higher Education Administration with a significant portion of that time focused on leadership development. He has written and spoken at the national and international levels in areas relating to teambuilding, leadership development and higher education.
Mark first came to Asbury University in 1990 to serve as the Director of Student Leadership Development. He served as Vice President for Student Development from 2005 - 2011, and in 2012 shifted to Vice President for Enrollment Management.
He feels incredibly blessed to be able to serve Asbury and be involved in helping advance the mission and help students develop into leaders to impact their world.
He is married to Diane and they have three children, Brian, Randy and Lisa.
