Thacker House is named in recognition of 41 years of devoted service to Asbury College students by Dr. Joseph Thacker ’50 (Faculty Member, History; College Centennial Historian; Advisor for International and Third Culture Students; Jym Jamboree Director) and his wife Mrs. Margaret Thacker (Hostess and Friend).

Mildred and Clearence Pike

Pike House is named in recognition of 45 years of devoted service to Asbury College students by Dr. Clarence J. Pike ‘25 (Vice President and Dean; Faculty Member, History) and his wife Mrs. Mildred Shafer ’31 Pike (Faculty Member, Music; Hall Mother; Dedicated Prayer Warrior).

Henry and Irene Howell

Howell House is named in recognition of 23 years of devoted service to Asbury College students by Dr. Henry Howell (Faculty Member, Biology) and his wife Mrs. Irene Cornett ’40 Howell (Hall Mother; Dedicated Prayer Warrior), Class Advisors, Warrior Class of 1972 and Voyager Class of 1980.

Maysel Davis

Davis House is named in recognition of 13 years of devoted service to Asbury College students by Mrs. Maysel Davis (Resident Director, Glide Crawford Hall; Dean of Women; Campus Hostess).

Fisher House is named in recognition of more than 50 years of devoted service to Asbury College students by Dr. Leon Fisher ’47 (Faculty Member, Psychology; Resident Director, Men’s Residence Halls; Founding Director, Student Counseling Center; Sponsor, Salvation Army Student Fellowship) and his wife Major
Annette Smith Fisher McInnes ’64 (Faculty Member, Psychology; Director, Student Counseling Center).

Bill and Doris Eddy
