Asbury University has appointed Professor Robin Lim as Dean of the Dayton School of Business, positioning the School for continued growth and impact as it prepares students to serve Christ through business leadership.
Asbury University President Dr. Kevin Brown announced Lim’s appointment as Dean of the Dayton School of Business (DSB) as the University prepares for the 2026-27 academic year.

Lim will lead the DSB as it advances strategic priorities that include enrollment growth, employer and external partnerships, donor engagement, international opportunities and innovative academic programs. His appointment builds upon the School’s vision to prepare graduates who seek not only to become the best in the world, but the “best for the world.”
Lim’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the Dayton School of Business, strengthening its ability to connect Christ-centered formation with innovation, entrepreneurship and a rapidly changing global marketplace.

Through her wisdom, care and steadfast commitment to students and the University, Graves strengthened the School and helped build the foundation for this next chapter. Robin Lim is passionate about teaching and empowering a generation for redemptive influence in the global marketplace. He serves as Dean of the DSB and Assistant Professor of Business at Asbury University.
Prior to academia, he spent 16 years in corporate leadership, most recently as Global Head of Home Lending Products at one of the world’s largest banks, where he was accountable for more than $300 billion in assets across Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan. His career has spanned strategy, product, digital transformation and general management, and he has held various board directorships, including at Australia’s largest wholesale lender.
Lim remains actively engaged in commercial ventures, including businesses across the Asia-Pacific, bringing international executive insight into the classroom. He also serves on a range of international nonprofit and commercial boards, including Asbury Theological Seminary, World Methodist Evangelism, 24-7 Prayer Australia, and Half Crown Media.
In 2012, Lim was elected as one of five young leaders internationally to serve on the World Methodist Council, a global body representing more than 80 million people. He is co-founder of MATES for Change, an Australian organization championing social entrepreneurship, which has been recognized by the Victorian government for innovation. Robin is also a pastor in the Chinese Methodist Church of Australia and speaks internationally on faith, leadership, business and the formation of the next generation.
Lim holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Information Technology from The Australian National University and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary (2023). Born in Sydney, Australia, Robin is married to Ruth and they have four sons: Jared, Noah, Jude and Benji.
As the DSB enters this new season, Asbury looks forward to expanding opportunities for students, strengthening partnerships and preparing graduates to lead with excellence, humility and a distinctly Christ-centered vision for business.
The DSB offers five majors (Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, and Sport Management), five minors (Accounting, Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Sport Management), the MBA program, and the M.S. in Accounting program.
