Asbury University women’s basketball student-athletes Trinity Britton and Isabella Mayes recently joined the NCCAA’s #KingChasing Podcast to share how a mission trip to Costa Rica strengthened their faith and deepened their passion for serving others.

Hosted by NCCAA Communications Coordinator Richard Martin, the episode features Britton, a senior, and Mayes, a junior, as they discuss serving alongside their teammates through Roblealto, a nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for children and adolescents in Costa Rica who face social vulnerability and require specialized care.

During the conversation, Britton and Mayes share stories from the trip, highlighting the relationships they built with local children and the ways God worked through their team’s service. They also describe how the experience helped them rediscover the joy of the Lord and offered a fresh perspective compared to previous mission trips.
