Alumnus Andy Miller ’11 Returns to Lead Innovation in Asbury IT Services
Asbury University has named Andrew (Andy) Miller ’11 as Director of Information Technology Services and Chief Information Officer (CIO), a key leadership role supporting the University’s technology strategy and campus-wide innovation.
Miller brings a unique combination of institutional knowledge and industry experience, having previously served as Service Desk Manager at Asbury before advancing into leadership roles in the private sector. His return reflects a continued investment in technology that supports student success, operational excellence, and data security.

Most recently, Miller served as Director of Information Technology Services for Sounds Fun Entertainment in Lexington, Ky., supporting technology operations across more than 70 locations in the U.S. and internationally. His work spanned multiple brands, including Breakout Games, Activate Games, Vinaigrette Salad Kitchen, and Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, where he led large-scale technology systems and infrastructure.

In his new role at Asbury, Miller will lead a team of IT professionals to strengthen and expand the University’s use of technology. His focus includes navigating a rapidly evolving digital landscape, enhancing technology resources for students and employees, and ensuring strong data security through best practices.
After several years as the Service Desk Manager at Asbury University, Miller most recently served as the Director of Information Technology Services for Sounds Fun Entertainment (Lexington, Ky.), which includes such brands as Breakout Games, Activate Games, Vinaigrette Salad Kitchen, and Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt.
Miller will begin his service at Asbury around May 1.

We are responsible for technology throughout the campus, including the campus network, servers, computer labs, technology classrooms, printers, office computers, the campus phone system and the ID card system.
