U.S. News & World Report ranked Asbury University the #3 Best Value University in the South in its 2026 Best Colleges rankings. The recognition highlights Asbury’s commitment to academic excellence, affordability, and Christ-centered education.
U.S. News & World Report bases its Best Value ranking on academic quality and the net cost of attendance for out-of-state students who receive need-based aid. The publication includes only schools ranked in or near the top half of their categories and gives the highest placement to schools that deliver strong programs at lower costs. Asbury earned its spot by combining exceptional academics with financial accessibility.
“Being recognized as the #3 Best Value University in the South by U.S. News & World Report is a significant affirmation of Asbury’s mission,” said Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing Jennifer McChord. “Affordability is a central priority for us because we are committed to ensuring that cost is never a barrier to an excellent, transformational education. With 100% of our students receiving financial aid, a substantial portion of the initial cost of attendance is offset, meaning families often experience a much lower net cost. Rooted in our Christ-centered mission, this ranking reflects the confidence students and families can have in both the value and distinctiveness of an Asbury degree.”
