Asbury Ranked in Top 50 Most Affordable Christian Colleges

Already ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top-five colleges in the South Region of the United States – and the only Kentucky college in the Top 15 – Asbury University was honored again this week by being named one of the Top 50 Most Affordable Christian Colleges in the entire United States.

Asbury University library
Kinlaw Library contains print and electronic resources for student use, as well as the University Archives and a curriculum lab for education students.

A private, Christian university with more than 50 majors, online, degree-completion and graduate programs, Asbury is a national leader in multiple academic fields (ranging from Communications Arts to Equine Management) and has been promoting academic excellence and spiritual vitality for nearly 125 years. Asbury was one of only two Kentucky colleges selected in the Top 50.

With 90 percent of its student population receiving some form of financial aid and more than 50 percent of the students having more than half of their tuition covered by an aggressive financial aid/scholarship approach, Asbury’s amazing value was recognized by Christian Universities Online (CUO). This list helps the prospective students (and their parents) better understand and navigate the true affordability of some of the nation’s finest, accredited private institutions.

To make sure the ranking only included high quality, accredited institutions, the colleges and universities on this list had to be accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools or a member/affiliate of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
