Glen Flanigan
Assistant Professor

PROFESSOR GLEN FLANIGAN is Coordinator of Instrumental Studies and conducts the Asbury College Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble . In addition, he teaches low brass lessons, instrumental music education and conducting classes. Prof. Flanigan is a member of Music Educators National Conference, International Association of Jazz Educators, International Tuba-Euphonium Association and is Research Chair of the Kentucky Music Educators Association.
Prior to joining the Asbury faculty in 2001, Professor Flanigan was a high school band director in Iowa for 17 years. He is 1982 graduate of Asbury College, and holds a Master of Science degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois. He is a doctoral candidate in Music Education at the University of Kentucky.
