Who is he? Wes Kawaja is often credited as the genius who brought platform disco shoes back into fashion, however it’s his audio production expertise that brings him back to teach at Asbury. He got his start in the world of professional audio at the age of 14.

What’s he done? Kawaja has crafted audio for some of the biggest names in entertainment: Disney Animation, HBO Sports, The Discovery Channel, BBC America, TLC, President Bush, and President Clinton — just to name a few. He also developed a knack for teaching, having helped develop and teach audio courses for government and military agencies. Kawaja currently operates 328 Sound & Video Services, an award winning post-production facility located down the street from Asbury.

Outside of class? Kawaja lives a simple life on his farm near Wilmore, building large-scale sound systems with the help of his three llamas.
