Youth ministry conference for high school students
WILMORE, KY—Asbury University is hosting a special conference for high school students seeking to answer a call to full-time ministry, along with their youth sponsors. The CALL conference is Oct. 7-9, 2010 and is being co-sponsored by the Asbury University Department of Christian Ministries and Missions, and the Asbury Theological Seminary. There is no cost to attend the conference. Housing and meals are provided for the student participants.
The CALL conference goal is to encourage high school students in the exploration and living out of their call for ministry. High school students will participate in worship and shaping teaching sessions to further explore their calling. Breakouts lead by experienced ministry leaders and professors will target specific areas of ministry to help students prepare more specifically for: pastoral ministry; youth ministry; worship arts ministry; mission and compassionate ministries.
A session will also be available for the adults or youth sponsors who are there to encourage these students. Special activities include community building, campus tours and a trip to the Asbury University Challenge Course.
More information on registration will be available soon. Contact Brian Hull for more information or questions
