Reunion FAQ

▾ What to expect?

Family friendly weekend for you to connect with Asbury and your classmates. We want you to come and feel encouraged in your walk with Jesus and more confident in Asbury and her future!

Check out the schedule here: asbury.edu/reunion

▾ When will registration open?

Registration will open online in April. If you have questions or would prefer someone to help you register, please reach out to us at reunion@asbury.edu or 859-858-3511, x2534. We will contact you as soon as we can.

▾ Where can I stay?

On-campus housing: You may choose to stay on campus in one of our residence halls. There are some family-style options available in our apartments for those with children. Please be reminded that our campus housing provides only basic amenities, including bed linens and towels. Unfortunately, the dorm rooms are not decorated (rugs, lamps, TVs, pictures, etc) and have only the furniture needed for each room. Reservations for on-campus housing will be available when Registration opens in April. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests.

Other accommodations: There are hotels and bed and breakfast options in the area. Unfortunately, the Asbury Inn is unavailable this summer. If this changes, we will let you know!  You can find a complete list of options here: https://www.asbury.edu/admissions-aid/visit/lodging-area/

▾ Can I purchase meals on campus?

Meals are available for purchase through registration starting at dinner on Friday and through lunch on Sunday. Here is a list of local options: https://www.asbury.edu/admissions-aid/visit/eating/

▾ Are my children encouraged to come?

Please bring your children to Reunion! We provide a full youth program for birth through high school. Canoeing, challenge course, inflatables, and swimming are on the program for age-appropriate activities. We have something for everyone!

▾ Will my reunion year be celebrated?

This year, we celebrate our classes ending in 4s and 9s by singing your class hymn in Hughes and with Class gatherings throughout the weekend. You can view the full list of those locations and times here:

▾ What are the special reunions or programs this year?

We will celebrate with our alums who played handbells and those who played in the Jazz Ensemble. There will be rehearsals throughout the weekend and a concert on Sunday morning. We will also celebrate the 100th birthday of Glide-Crawford Residence Hall with a reception in the parlor on Saturday afternoon.

▾ What if I plan to arrive on Thursday?

If you plan to arrive on Thursday, shuttles from Lexington Airport and campus housing are available Thursday evening. The dining hall will be open Friday for breakfast and lunch. You can pay at the door for these meals. Please be aware that registration opens and programming begins Friday afternoon.

▾ It's not my reunion year, can I still come?

YES! Please join us!

▾ Parking?

You are welcome to park in the various parking lots marked on the campus map. You may view the campus map here. Registration is in the Kinlaw Library (20).
