Youth Pastor

The Youth Pastor will be responsible for a Christ-centered ministry (middle and high school) that will reach and motivate students to become authentic followers of Jesus Christ through worship, biblical teaching, fellowship, personal discipleship, community outreach, and missions. -Commitment to personal growth and a daily walk with Jesus Christ, living a lifestyle that is reflective of a relationship with Christ -Effective Biblical communicator to students; strong relational skills, willing and able to invest time and effort into the lives of students -Committed to communicating effectively with parents as it relates to the youth group schedule, student expectations, student discipline, fundraising, etc -Ability to effectively deal with inquiries, issues and difficult situations with tact and diplomacy -Ability to recruit, train, and motivate student and adult leaders to carry out ministry..etc -Some aptitude fir computer systems, software and technology -Ability to understand church business practices including budget processes -Willingness to work alongside other ministries to preserve and promote unity -Desire to work in a team environment -Willing and bale to relate and work within the student culture and the church culture
