Highbridge Film Festival 2020: Plans for an Online Event

WILMORE, KY (March 18, 2020) – Highbridge Film Festival is making plans for an online festival in response to public health concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic. The online event will be in place of the live showcase originally planned for April 25 in Hughes Auditorium.

There will be more to announce next week, but we want to confirm that filmmakers should still plan to submit their films. We know many filmmakers already have films completed, or are in the post production process and have our existing deadline in mind. Please plan to submit your films—April 6 for high school and April 9 for Asbury undergraduates.

We will be issuing instructions for filmmakers to submit their films online, as well as updating our submission instructions accordingly, so please hold off on sending in films and forms until we make additional announcements about the new online process.

Thank you for your patience in this unprecedented time. We believe that Highbridge will continue to be a focal point for the Asbury University community to celebrate our students as they dream, create, and inspire through the power of cinematic story.

More news on film submissions will be published next week.
