PARKING

Parking for guests is provided in the Akers & Fine Arts parking lots, the Commuter lot behind Hamann-Ray Science Center, the Upperclass lots behind the Johnson and Trustees dormitories, Kinlaw Library lot, James Street lot (by the soccer field), Luce Center lot, Miller Center for Communication Arts lot, and the Kresge lot. 

Please refrain from parking in the Administration lot behind the cafeteria, in the lot directly behind the Fletcher-Early Student Development Center, and anywhere on the semi-circle. The semi-circle is to be kept available for handicap parking as necessary for the Baccalaureate and Commencement Services in Hughes Auditorium.  

For the Graduate & Non-Traditional Commencement at 10:00 a.m., a handicap drop-off point will be provided at the turn-around at the rear of Hughes Auditorium with parking in the Kinlaw Library lot.  Handicap access to the building will be at the rear of the building as well.

For the Traditional Commencement at 2:00 p.m., handicap parking – as well as a drop-off point – will be available in the Luce Center lot directly behind the building.  Handicap access to the building will be provided at the rear of the building, as well.

ATM

An ATM is located in the Student Center.

 

TELEPHONE SERVICE

Courtesy phones are available for guests to use in the lobby of each dorm, in the Hager Administration Building, Campus Post Office (CPO) lobby, and in the entry to the Grille on the second floor of Johnson Cafeteria.  The University telephone switchboard is located in the Hager Administration Building, which is open 24 hours a day (859-858-3511).  Persons in dormitories may simply dial "0" on the lobby phone to reach the switchboard.  For medical emergencies, call "9,911" from a courtesy phone.  After calling in the emergency, dial "0" to report it to the switchboard.

 

COMMUNITY STANDARDS

We request that guests wear attire appropriate to the dignity of the occasion.  In keeping with our University policy of being a smoke-free campus and with State Fire Regulations, we request that guests refrain from smoking on campus.  Pets are not permitted in any campus facility.
