“As a faculty colleague of Dr. Brown, I’m very excited to welcome him as our new president. Kevin loves the Lord and loves this university.  He is a gifted leader and I look forward to serving under him.” – Dr. George Allen, Assistant Professor of Marketing

“We are extremely excited to have Dr. Brown with us and to lead Asbury into the future. What an incredible man of God and one who loves students, loves people and will love our alumni greatly. We are honored and thrilled to have him at the helm.” – Lisa Falin ’93 Harper, Director of Alumni Relations

“Kevin is the first person I met when I came to Asbury. We were seated next to each other at faculty orientation on the first day. I thought he was one of the kindest and most thoughtful and most excellent people that we could hire. It’s going to be such an honor to work under him and I believe that he has the heart for people that will grow Asbury and help us pursue the Lord. I wish him nothing but the best. I know it will be difficult and I’m so thankful that he was willing to take this position. I couldn’t think of a better choice.” – Dr. Jill Campbell, Assistant Professor of Music Education and Voice

“As an alum, I’m excited about the passion he has for Christian liberal arts higher education. His ability and desire to ensure our need and relevance to the world at large is impressive.” – Ric Speakman ’01

“What great news for Asbury! I pray that this beginning season of his leadership is blessed with discernment, with Holy Spirit guidance, with communal affirmation and with divine direction for all of the Asbury community and constituents. I pray that Dr. Brown knows the confidence of the team around him and that his family is strengthened through this season of his leadership.” – Rev. Greg Haseloff, Associate Dean of Spiritual Life/Campus Chaplain

“The University can’t find a more intelligent or humble leader as Dr. Brown, so I’m just thrilled for the school and the future of the University under his leadership. I know that he’s an incredible man who sees the image of God in every single person he interacts with. I’m thrilled for his family and excited to see where he takes the University. I know that Dr. Gray has left quite a legacy and to follow that would be difficult for anyone, but I think Dr. Brown is definitely the best candidate. He’s going to do an incredible job. As a recent alum, I am deeply, deeply encouraged by the decision. I’m excited and inspired by the Board of Trustees’ decision to know that this place is who it says it is and it will always be the college that I grew to love while I was here. I’m just thrilled and excited for the family and the University.” – Alex George ’19, alumna and current MBA student
