Amazingly ordinary

Courtney has hit her stride, so to speak, with both academics and social life this semester. She’s taking a heavy course load with the goal of pursuing nursing school after finishing at Asbury, and she continues to train with the volleyball team in hopes of working her way back onto the varsity squad. Though she still encounters some “what just happened here?” moments — for example, her story is widely known and sometimes discussed in class, without the other students’ awareness that Courtney, the very person they are discussing, is present — most of her activities are typical college-student fare.

And that might be one of the biggest miracles of all.

There was the afternoon spent jumping at an indoor trampoline park ...

... and the horseback riding class offered through Asbury's Equine Center ...

... and another 5K Color Run. You know, no big deal.
