Parent Handbook: Academic Expectations

Students are expected to take responsibility for their own academic details. They are provided a syllabus for classroom courses outlining all specific requirements for class participation, assignments and deadlines. Students should refer to the Asbury University Bulletin for information regarding academic expectations and chapel attendance. Please note the satisfactory progress scale that all students must meet to stay in college and to receive financial aid.

Students will be notified if they are earning less than “C” at mid-term. These grades are not recorded on the student’s permanent record. Students should talk with their advisor or contact the registrar’s office about any problems or questions. Midterm and final grades are posted in the student portal.

For further information contact the registrar’s office, (859) 858-3511, x2180 or registrar@asbury.edu
