Quinn serves the Asbury community as the Assistant Director for Residence Life, Trustees Hall Resident Director, and Student Center Director. He has also taught the freshman First Year Experience course.
Hailing primarily from the Chicagoland area, Quinn ventured across the country and back a few times while attending college (San Diego is still his favorite!), before eventually receiving his bachelors degree in Music Business from Belmont University in 2001. Like many, life turned out to be quite different than Quinn expected, and after struggling through that “transitional” period of life and a stint in the corporate world, he ended up in graduate school at Wheaton College, where he received his masters degree in ministry in 2008. He is currently a PhD candidate with the University of Manchester working on a doctorate in practical theology and spiritual formation in the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.
Mentoring, discipleship, and simply doing life together are among Quinn's greatest passions. Over the past several years, Quinn has led discipleship small groups for young men, short-term mission trips, one-on-one mentoring, seminars on the dangers of pornography, and wilderness trips for high school and college students at Wheaton College's HoneyRock Camp in Northern Wisconsin. Each day is a new opportunity for him to live richly, think deeply, gain perspective, understand and apply biblical truth, and live life whole-heartedly.
Quinn is the proud "natural" uncle of two beautiful nieces and has a nephew on the way. He also enjoys the pleasure of having been adopted as the "quasi" uncle for many more!
