Train, schedule, and supervise direct care staff. Oversee and assure resident screening, intake and case management is accomplished in an appropriate and professional manner. Develop and implement established shelter policies and procedures to structure and govern the daily operations of the program including kitchen safe serving guidelines and The Salvation Army safe from Harm program. Ensure compliance with established budgetary guidelines for all expenditures, documenting necessary exceptions for future consideration. Monitor bills and submit for payment in accordance with Salvation Army policy and established budget. Prepare monthly reports of services provided as required by The Salvation Army, government entities and associated social service providers. Monitor grants and contracts, and oversee contract renewal process for grants, in accordance with Salvation Army policy. Conduct regular and as needed staff meetings. Develop professional and productive relationships with other social service providers, area churches, civic and service clubs, and business resources. Recruit volunteers from the community.
5 years experience and 5 years supervisory/management experience for Bachelor's Degree, 3 years experience for Master's Degree. Minimum of three years experience in the social services field with at least one year experience working with the homeless population.
