As Director of Marketing and Communications at Asbury, Brad is responsible for all outward messaging for the University, including all University branding, advertising, social media, communications with news agencies and management of the Office of Marketing & Communications. This office publishes and distributes the Ambassador (alumni) and Viaticum (research and scholarship) magazines and is responsible for all content and design on the University’s official Web site (asbury.edu) and all social media outlets.

With more than two decades of media and marketing experience, Brad came to Asbury after spending eight years as the director of publishing for IMG, America’s premier sports marketing agency. Prior to that he was a writer, editor and director at the Charlotte Observer newspaper, Q2 Media and TeamTalk multi-media services.
A native of Charlotte, N.C., Brad has degrees in both Journalism and History from Indiana University, where he also played intercollegiate soccer. He lives in Lexington, Ky., with his wife, DeAnna (an elementary school teacher) and they have two sons — Matthew (an Asbury student) and Niklas (currently in high school).
