Asbury ACCESS Days Welcome High School Students
WILMORE, Ky. — Do you have questions about financial aid, exploring different majors or residence life at Asbury University? Do you want to get a personal feel for campus, meet current students and interact with University departments?
If you’re a junior or senior in high school, you are invited to register for one of Asbury’s ACCESS Days (Feb. 23-24 or March 23-24) — an immersive campus life experience. You will worship in Chapel, visit classes, attend a faculty panel, spend the night in a residence hall and much more. ACCESS Days are free to attend. In addition, we will cover the cost of breakfast and lunch on Friday for visiting students and their families.
“If you think you might be interested in Asbury, make a visit,” said Mallary Wiley ’05, associate director for Undergraduate Admissions at Asbury. “You learn so much more from a college visit than you can learn from looking at a Web site. Making an in-person visit is the best way to know if Asbury is for you.”
Open to all high school juniors and seniors, ACCESS Days provide a great way to experience life at Asbury and answer questions about academics, financial aid, campus life and more. Can’t decide between residence halls? Stay in one, tour the other. Want to try out a major? Visit a class and attend the academic fair.
Parents of prospective students will have an opportunity to attend a financial-aid seminar, and students can schedule individual financial-aid information sessions with their admissions counselors. Even if you can’t make it to one of Asbury’s ACCESS Days, you can register for a personal campus visit at any time.
As the Fall semester draws closer, make sure you’ve completed your application to Asbury. Simply applying makes you eligible to be considered for many scholarships. Opportunities still available include a $10,000 per year Business scholarship, Music scholarships, Athletics scholarships and much more.
