Asbury to Publish New Alumni Directory
It’s that time again — Asbury University's new Alumni Directory will be published this year, and we need your help!
Asbury alumni are already receiving e-mails, calls and postcards from Publishing Concepts (PCI), the company producing our new directory, and beginning Feb. 22, alums will also have the option of updating their information online. With sections on class year and biographical information, geographical location and career networking information, the Alumni Directory is an invaluable tool for staying connected with the alumni community.
If you have any questions or would like more information, visit: asbury.edu/alumni-directory.
Here are two ways you can help make the new Directory a success:
- If you receive a postcard or an e-mail with a telephone number, call the number to speak with a dedicated representative for the Asbury University project.
- If you receive an e-mail with an embedded link, go to the online site to review your information.
For Asbury alumni, the Directory is an opportunity to take advantages of the tremendous resources of Asbury’s alumni community. For Asbury, it’s an opportunity to serve alumni better.
“If an alum is moving to a new area and wants Asbury connections, we can provide that — as long as we know where people are,” said Lisa Harper, director of Alumni Relations at Asbury. “The same is true for our seniors and recent graduates — they want to know, ‘Who can mentor me through this particular pathway?’ If that hasn’t been updated, we can’t provide that service.”
Information submitted to the Alumni Directory is completely secure and available only to Asbury alumni. You also have control over what you share — you can ask for any element of your information to be included or excluded. Take this opportunity to enjoy the fellowship and support of Asbury’s alumni community!
“The Alumni Directory is an amazing tool to help us stay connected, so please keep in touch with your latest information,” Harper said. “This will serve as a point of reference for those in the same vocation, those living in the same location and for future alumni gatherings. This also benefits our recruitment efforts, as we share how our alumni are serving around the world. Asbury’s alumni community has so much to offer, from fellowship to prayer to professional networking, and we can’t wait to share this information with you."
