Students crowned Homecoming King and Queen
Joshua Becht ’18 and Madison Farrar ’18 were crowned Homecoming King and Queen.

WILMORE, Ky. — Asbury University hosted its annual Family Weekend & Homecoming on Oct. 5-7, inviting family, alumni, and current students to enjoy an array of activities including music ensemble concerts, a live recording of a sitcom episode, sporting events, a Homecoming Coronation (honoring Homecoming King and Queen Joshua Becht ’18 and Madison Farrar ’18) and much more. One event that continued to generate excitement on campus was Sibling Invasion. Yet another example of Asbury’s commitment to family, Sibling Invasion is an opportunity for high school-aged siblings and family members of current Asbury students to visit campus, attend classes and Chapel, stay in the residence halls, eat complimentary meals in the dining hall and participate in all Family Weekend & Homecoming activities.

Anna Leigh Morrow ’18 has hosted her sisters on campus during Homecoming and Family Weekend for the past four years.

“Sibling Invasion is my favorite part of this weekend,” Morrow said. “I love the chance to have my sisters come and stay with me. Last year they went to all my classes and sat with me in Chapel. I get to show them around campus and introduce them to my friends and professors. They also love staying in my room. They feel very grown-up getting to experience college life for a day or two.”
