mcdonalds.jpgWILMORE, KY— Dr. Devin Brown, professor of English at Asbury College, along with members of McDonald’s People Team, pro football great Dermontti Dawson, members of the Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra and Ronald McDonald recently visited UK HealthCare Kentucky Children’s Hospital to celebrate World Children’s Day at McDonald’s.


The event included games organized by McDonald’s People Team, a performance by Ronald McDonald, stories read by Dr. Brown, a performance by Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra violinists Ella Chang and Jessica Tzou, and interaction with Dermontti Dawson.

McDonald’s restaurants celebrate World Children’s Day™ at McDonald’s®, a worldwide program that raises awareness and funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) and other children’s causes.

Brown is a Lilly Scholar at the College and author of Inside Narnia: A Guide to Exploring The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Not Exactly Normal.
