September 20, 2021 — The magical arrival of a certain Disney voice actor had Asbury University exclaiming “Gawrsh!” On Sept. 9, Bill Farmer, the voice of Goofy, visited campus and spoke to students and faculty about the inspiring path that led to his voice acting career and his incorporation of faith into the world of animation.
September 15, 2021 — The award-winning Asbury University Media Communication department will host a red-carpet event premiering its film Damaged Goods on Friday, Oct. 1, at 7:30 p.m. at the historic Lyric Theatre in Lexington, KY. The female-led movie is co- directed by Hollywood veteran Nancy Stafford (Matlock, Magnum P.I., Who’s the Boss?) and Asbury alumna Katie Oostman ‘15, and written by Doug Smart.
September 10, 2021 — Asbury University is hosting a men’s and women’s soccer double-header on Saturday, Sept. 11, with the men’s team hosting Cedarville University (NCAA Division II) at 5 p.m. and the women’s battling Kentucky Wesleyan (NCAA Division II) at 7 p.m.
September 9, 2021 — Asbury University will offer enrolling students from Lexington Christian Academy (LCA) the same tuition as they pay for their high school education. Beginning with the May 2021 class, LCA graduates who choose Asbury for their college journey, a renewable tuition-match for the same rate as the current LCA twelfth grade tuition is now available.
