Trustees Hall Resident Director
I graduated from Asbury University in 2013 along with my wife, Jordan. Following that, we rapidly transitioned to Arizona for my graduate education. We then relocated to Georgia for two additional years before returning to AU in 2016. We now have two very young sons, Jonah and Silas. And together we are honored to connect with, build, challenge, and ‘do life’ with the students of Asbury University – more specifically, with the men of Trustees Residence Hall.
Within all the brick, concrete, and plaster of Trustees Hall beats the heart of a vibrant community of young men striving to discover who they are, find their places within their various communities, and figure out what they will become as they enter the ‘real’ world.
But Trustees (“where trust meets ease”) also has something of a laid-back atmosphere. It’s a great place to just “be” sometimes – whether that means enjoying some solitude, spending time with other Trustees brothers gently rocking on our front porch swing, or laughing together over some late-night game in one of our recently-refinished common areas. Within the broader Trustees environment are also six separate halls – each with its own distinct culture and each contributing to an even deeper richness in our men’s experience.
I believe the college years are a uniquely pivotal time in a young man’s life to grow in community, in faith, in maturity, and in a number of other critically important ways as he prepares for life after college. So I love having the opportunity to serve at Asbury. I know that God has brought our family here to help our university’s students become everything they can be in Christ (and, of course, have a great time doing that). I truly hope that you’ll come home to Trustees Hall, and become a proud member of our special community.
