Study with Asbury’s Lewis expert, Dr. Devin Brown, and discover more about the most famous Christian writer of our time and the man who created Narnia.  Learn how to read The Chronicles of Narnia with greater understanding and greater enjoyment.

The camp is $400-$450 per person (depending on Early or Standard Registration), and includes food, lodging, and all expenses.

What You Can Expect:

Dr. Devin Brown, a world-renowned Lewis will help students to come away with a more thorough understanding of C. S. Lewis and The Chronicles of Narnia.  Each student will receive a signed copy of Dr. Brown’s book — A Life Observed: A Spiritual Biography of C. S. Lewis which includes a foreword written by Lewis’s stepson, Douglas Gresham.

About Your Instructors

Dr. Devin BrownDr. Devin Brown is a Lilly Scholar and Professor of English at Asbury University where, in addition to other literature classes, he teaches a course on Lewis and Tolkien. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina and a Master’s degree in creative writing from the University of Florida. He has done further study at Oxford University and University College Dublin.  He is an award-winning author and a frequent speaker at conferences and on college campuses.  Dr. Brown was born and grew up on Chicago’s south side. He and his wife, Dr. Sharon Brown, live in Lexington, Kentucky with their 15-pound cat, Mr. Fluff.
