Asbury Journalism graduates are prepared to work at the nation’s top news outlets and study at the nation’s most respected graduate schools. Even though Asbury Journalism grads are prepared to work for big-name organizations, they are encouraged to pursue their individual calling, whether it’s working for a major news network, a regional newspaper, a research magazine or a start-up website.
Our graduates have been able to secure jobs at newspapers across the nation and internationally…from the Albuquerque Tribune to the Wall Street Journal. They also worked for both profit and nonprofit magazines and organizations such as The Associated Press.
Grads have also been able to get jobs as writers, reporters and anchors with online organizations and broadcasting companies such as ABC News, CNN, The Huffington Post, PBS, ESPN and local television stations across the United States.
