John DeCuir, Jr.

John DeCuir

John DeCuir has worked as a film production designer for many films including Ghostbusters, Cleopatra, Hello Dolly, Taming of the Shrew, 3D Muppet Movie, and Top Gun. He was also a Disney designer, who, as a part of imagineering, designed the EPCOT World Showcase…and the iconic EPCOT ball. John teaches a class in production design.

Andrea Nasfell

Andrea Nasfell

Screenwriter Andrea Nasfell has had eight of her films produced including Moms’ Night Out. Other films she has written include The Resurrection of Gavin Stone, Silver Bells, Escape, Christmas Angel, Christmas with a Capital C, and What If… Andrea teaches a screenwriting course.

Donald Slouffman

DT Slouffman

Six-time national Emmy Award winner DT Slouffman is currently the executive producer of Sports Illustrated’s daily digital series, SI Now. He previously served as series producer for CNN’s sports program, Unguarded. His experience has included working as a producer at multiple Olympics, Rose Bowl parades, IndyCar races and figure skating championships. He has also worked in reality television. DT teaches a class in sports storytelling.

Doug Smart, M.A.

DT Slouffman

Doug Smart worked for more than 20 years as a professional television Director and broadcaster for NBC, ABC, CBS and FOX. His credits include Newhart, 3 Academy Awards shows, Benson, Empty Nest and The Golden Girls.

Doug has received six EMMY nominations, and in July of 2014 Doug was awarded the EMMY for “Outstanding Directorial Achievement – Live or Live to Tape” by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The EMMY was awarded to Doug for his work directing “The Word,” episode #505 of Asbury University’s original TV Sitcom, FRIENDS LIKE YOU.
