After a 30-year career as a teacher, principal, Kentucky Department of Education Education Recovery Leader and Central Office Administrator, I came to Asbury four years ago to recruit for and teach in the Graduate School of Education. My teaching assignments include school principal and research courses. I have been married to my wife Carol for 32 years and have two married children and three grandchildren.

Mary Stricklin

Graduate Education Admissions & Recruitment

Mary Stricklin works with in Graduate Education Admissions & Recruitment. She is blessed to have grown up in Deland, Florida as a PK (preacher’s kid) in the United Methodist denomination. Like her father and brother before her, Mary followed the Lord to Asbury University where she graduated with a B.A. in Biology. Mary has worked as both a receptionist and medical assistant for the Daytona Beach division of Advanced Urology Institute. While at Asbury she was heavily involved in the Music Department and continues to enjoy music through their annual concerts.

Undergraduate, graduate and degree completion Preview Events, Jan. 28-30

WILMORE, KY—Asbury College is hosting a preview weekend for prospective undergraduate, graduate and degree completion students, Jan. 28-30. The Master of Social Work Program, the Master of Arts in Education Program, and the ACHIEVE Degree Completion Program are hosting preview events for the benefit of prospective students. These events will be held during the Asbury College’s Preview Weekend for traditional undergraduate students.
