Math Modeling Visit Event

Asbury University's Math Modeling Visit Event is open to any high school juniors and seniors interested in any major, but will be of particular interest to students wanting to study Math.

Each spring, teams of three students compete in the COMAP Mathematical and Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling.  In January, Asbury will celebrate its 30th anniversary of participation in this exciting international event, in which Asbury teams historically have placed in the top 10th in the world.

Join the Asbury Math Department on January 19-20, 2017, to celebrate with a special preview of math modeling and STEM visit weekend.  Events include a Pizza Party Kick-Off, Math Modeling Problem Download, Chapel with an Asbury math alum (Dr. Corey Winton ’04), class visits, and, of course, your own opportunity to “model at Asbury”.
