Instructors at Asbury look for special events opportunities to give students operational experience and positive resume bullets. One of the largest events was the “Narnia Night” celebration, drawing over 1,000 people; the evening extravaganza featured the world premier of the Narnia movie ten-minute trailer. Other opportunities have included running a campaign for a local politician, promoting Ichthus (the original Christian Music concert) and doing public relations for the Highbridge Film Festival and the Hope Center ministry that cares for the homeless in downtown Lexington, KY.
