Biographical Information

Elise received her Bachelor of Science in Health and Sport Studies from Miami University in 2000, Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2002, and PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Kentucky in 2022. After practicing in pediatrics in a variety of settings for 12 years, she was an assistant professor of exercise science at Asbury University from 2014-2018 and was a Lecturer in the University of Kentucky Doctor of Physical Therapy program from 2018-2022. Her research interests are in physical activity levels in elementary schools, implementation science, and the impact of physical activity on brain connectivity in children.
