Michele (Mallett) Wells
Michele Mallet Wells is a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at Indiana State University and her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Professor Mallett is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She was Department Coordinator for the Social Work program at Taylor University Fort Wayne where she taught for six years, and she has been in the field of social work for 20 years. Professor Mallett's clinical experience is in the area of counseling mental health issues with children and families, with particular skill in the area of addictions. Her teaching experience includes the areas of addictions counseling as well as multicultural counseling. She has been an adjunct professor for Indiana University Purdue University in Fort Wayne, IN and Huntington University in Huntington, IN. Presentations include "Constructing Social Integration" which emphasized cultural competence, "Teaching the Millennial Student," and grief and loss.
