Andrews enters his fifth season at the helm of the men's soccer program in 2014. The Eagles finished 11-8 in 2013 but place four players on the All-KIAC team. The Eagles advanced to the KIAC finals but fell just short of the fourth title in program history.
After tying a school record with 14 wins in 2011, Andrews' squad put together a 12-7-1 season in 2012
In 2011, Andrews led the Eagles to a share of their third straight regular season KIAC title and the third KIAC Championship in program history. The Eagles tied a program record with 14 wins, opposing just six losses and two draws. The Eagles fell one goal shy of advancing to the NAIA Tournament with a 3-2 loss to Roberts Wesleyan.
Despite compiling a 3-10-4 overall record in 2010 the Eagles still earned a share of the KIAC Regular Season championship in Andrews' first season. The Eagles were undefeated in four conference matches (2-0-2) for the first time in school history.
Andrews had previously served four years as an assistant with the program. During his stint as assistant, Andrews helped guide the team to an NCCAA Regional championship, NCCAA National Tournament appearance, KIAC Tournament championship, and NAIA Regional Tournament appearance.
Before serving as assistant coach, Andrews graduated in 2006 as a four-year letterman of the Eagle soccer program who served three years as team captain. Andrews was named to the KIAC All-Conference first team squad and first team NCCAA Region XII All-Regional throughout his career as well as earning NCCAA All-American honorable mention honors his senior year.
Originally from Deltona, Fla., Andrews left the sunshine state and a very decorative and successful high school and club career to join the team at Asbury. Andrews also teaches Sports Management related classes within the HPER major. He now lives in Wilmore with his wife Emily and their son, Cooper, who was born in March 2012.
