Equine Program

God, People, Horses—All in One Place!

Located just a few miles south of the horse capital of the world, the Asbury University Equine Program strives for its students to become Christ centered leaders in the equine Industry. The unique location of the program allows for limitless opportunities for students to excel in their equine related education at Asbury, and to gain practical experience on the many local farms and businesses. The Equine program allows for students to pursue their interests, whether in Equine Studies, Equine Assisted Services, or Equine Science (Pre-Veterinarian Medicine).

Asbury Service Mount Horses Join Police Forces Across the U.S.

Feb 21, 2024 — In April 2024, nine Asbury police horses trained by 14 Equine students will join mounted unit departments at the University of Massachusetts; the Massachusetts State Police; Nashville, Tenn.; Atlanta, Ga.; Hampden, Mass.; and Scottsdale, Ariz.

They were joined by trainers, groomers, and coaches from around the nation.
