Michele Wells (Mallett)
Michele Wells is a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at Indiana State University and her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Professor Wells is currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Regent University. Professor Wells is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Indiana. She was Department Coordinator for the Social Work program at Taylor University Fort Wayne where she taught for six years, and she has been a part of the Asbury University community for five years. Professor Wells has more than 20 years experience in the profession of Social Work. Professor Well's clinical experience is in the area of counseling mental health issues with children and families, with particular skill in the area of addictions. Her teaching responsibilities include the areas of generalist practice, diversity and advanced clinical practice. Professor Wells is a member of the board of the Kentucky Society of Clinical Social Work. She is doing her dissertation research on The Relationship of Professional Values and Spirituality with Motivation to Lead: The Mediating Effect of Social Justice Importance.
