Math and fun go hand-in-hand at Asbury University’s annual Math Night, an event designed to introduce elementary, middle and high school students to new math concepts in an exciting and challenging environment. The event serves as an exciting chance for math education students to implement what they’ve learned in their classes. A new theme is chosen each year. Previous themes have been Math Olympics, Math & Art, and Math & Literature.
Math Night occurs each spring on a Monday evening from 6pm – 8pm. Students in grades K-5 rotate to three different classrooms for a variety of activities. Students in grades 6-12 participate in special math activities in one classroom. The cost is $5 per child grades K-12, with a maximum of $10 per family.
