Shuttle Service – Spring 2023
Job Details
Asbury Student Congress in partnership with the Office of Safety and Security is hiring upperclassmen in good standing with the university to be drivers for the Shuttle Service.
Overall job description:
- Receive training from The Center for Wholeness and Wellness as well as Safety and Security
- Covering a 5 hour shift once a week from 9pm-2am
- Transporting students to and from parking lots through the transportation service
- Complete rounds in which you will drive around campus on the golf cart and report any suspicious activity directly to Switchboard
Qualifications for the position:
- Candidates must be upperclassmen with good academic and disciplinary standing as verified by the Registrar’s Office and the Office of Student Life
- Trustworthy with good relationships with other students, faculty, staff, and administration
- Willingness to participate in on-the-job training and seminars
- Alert to surroundings
- A major that has prepared them for interpersonal communications skills
- Experience in other security, military, or related jobs preferred
