Sommer is a proud member of the Faithful Class of 2022 and graduated from Asbury University with a B.A. in Psychology.
Sommer has lived in Kentucky her entire life and is a third-generation student of Asbury. “I have been so blessed by the students, faculty and alumni of Asbury. This is a place that has changed my life, as well as the lives of my family and friends. I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve here now as staff.”
As Staff Assistant for Leadership and Planned Gifts, Sommer supports the work of the Development team and communicates with donors and alumni. She loves connecting with alumni and hearing about each of their experiences during their Asbury journeys.
Sommer currently resides in Lexington, but enjoys traveling across the country to visit her family. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading and cooking.
