Education Librarian Position
In this position, I teach research and information literacy instruction sessions for graduate and undergraduate courses in the School of Education. I provide direct research assistance to students, faculty, and staff in the School of Education, including face-to-face and online consultations as well. I also direct the King Curriculum Lab, the resource center for the School of Education.
Academic & Professional Background
I have a Master’s in Library and Information Science and a Master’s in English (TESL) from the University of Kentucky. I have completed all of the coursework for Education certification through Asbury University. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish at Berea College.
I taught an Education course centered on English Language Learners at Asbury University and English composition at the University of Kentucky. I also have experience teaching ESL and English at the middle and high school levels. In addition, I coordinated the University of Kentucky’s Athletics tutoring and life skills/career development programs.
