Kristie Mattingly is excited to join the Asbury Mathematics department. She began her teaching career in 1993 teaching high school mathematics and Calculus through Campbellsville University. Kristie has two children, Auburn – a recent graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Engineering, and Baylor – an incoming Asbury University freshman. After Baylor was born, Kristie taught at Eastern Kentucky University, became elementary certified, and began teaching elementary. Teaching in both the private and public setting, she has taught pre-school, second grade, fifth grade and middle grades sixth, seventh, and eighth. She has spent the last several years back at the high school and collegiate level. Kristie and her husband, Michael, attend Hustonville Baptist Church where Kristie has spent the past 16 years preparing and teaching children’s sermons. She prays for God’s hand of blessing as she serves our Lord at Asbury University.
