“Giving and Watching It Multiply” – Dr. Rocky Wallace

February 26, 2018

“For to those who have, more will be given; and from those who have nothing, even what they have will be taken away.” – Mark 4:25

Due to a fall at work years earlier that had resulted in a severe traumatic brain injury and cost him his career in technology, “Bob” mostly sat at home and did what he had done best—worked on his computer. His doctor had told him the more he used his mind, the more of it would gradually return.

One day, a friend asked him if he’d consider coordinating the technology at her church. A few days later, he was in attendance. And now, a few years later, Bob’s ministry in his ability to create wonderfully inspiring slide shows that accompany the worship service each week is nothing short of amazing.

And, Bob’s brain just keeps lighting up again—more and more. His speech is better, his energy level is higher--his “return” to what he once was has been a miracle…a miracle that began when he said “yes”’ to the invitation to serve.
