What
This is a two-weekend seminar designed to equip couples with the skills to make a healthy transition to married life and encourage a deeper intimacy with each other and with Jesus Christ.
Who
Up to 23 engaged couples who are undergraduates, Grad Students and APS Students of Asbury University in Wilmore, KY. Alumni may also attend. Asbury Theological Seminary students and couples in the Wilmore Community may also attend, but preference is first given to Asbury University students..
Seminar Goals
After this seminar, couples will be able to...
- Prepare for marriage, not just the wedding
- Identify strengths and growth areas through education, testing, and reflection
- Communicate & resolve conflict relationally
- Develop a responsible financial plan
- Connect with marriage mentors
- Grow closer to God & each other
How to Apply
Complete and submit registration form and payment to the Center For Counseling, by posted deadline. The registration form will be available at the Center for Counseling front desk, or by emailing susan.thimons@asbury.edu.

Asbury University Kinlaw Board Room
Cost
Registration cost covers enrollment, processing, printing fees, and meals for the weekend ($110) and for the PREPARE and FIRO-B Inventories ($50).
Total Cost: $160 per couple
Deposit of $100 due on January 20th, and the remaining balance is due Febrary 3rd.
Couples can sign up until February 1st, 2012.

These workshops combine the resources of Asbury University and Asbury Theological Seminary. The registration costs do not pay the leaders & mentors for these weekends. Their time and talents are given freely to honor God and invest in each couples' preparation for marriage.
