Description/Responsibilities:God’s Pantry Food Bank is seeking an AmeriCorps VISTA Member to work as an integral part of the Development Department with major emphasis on building corporate support through a targeted fundraising campaign. The Goal of the Corporate Campaign Coordinator is to build involvement in a target fundraising campaign throughout God’s Pantry Food Bank’s 50‐county service area. Position Tasks: Design print materials campaign communication materials Manage communication with campaign participants Research potential campaign participants and build participation Provide oversight to the campaign and provide assistance and information to campaign participants Seek and secure vendor resource sponsors to boost campaign involvement Maintain up‐to‐date records and track and regularly report on progress
Requirements/Qualifications:Qualifications: 4‐Year College degree, or a comparable combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Nonprofit or fundraising experience a plus. Good communication skills, attention to detail is critical. Exceptional people and relationship skills necessary. Flexibility handling multiple tasks is a must. This person must work well in a team atmosphere and be dedicated to the mission of God’s Pantry Food Bank; and share a concern for the issues of hunger and poverty and their solutions. The position may involve light to moderate lifting. Good driving record. Time Commitment: This is a full time position. (40 hours per week); Must be available some evenings and weekends.
