Description/Responsibilities:Position: Early Childhood Ministries Leader Reports to: Director of Age Level Ministries (Heather Evans) Time Requirements: Full time (40-45 hours per week) including Sunday mornings, Wednesday and Friday nights, and occasional seasonal and special events. Responsibilities: (including, but not limited to) *Oversight and leadership of all Sunday morning and Friday night ministries for children ages newborn through kindergarten. This includes recruiting, training, and shepherding volunteers; selecting and facilitating curriculum; and communicating with families. *Oversee Wednesday night “Transform” activities for preschool children. *Supervise nursery/childcare ministry policies, procedures, and staff. This includes hiring paid staff, managing schedules, supplies, and communicating with families. *Act as assistant to the director of Small Wonders Preschool with various administrative duties like employee scheduling, payroll, new enrollments, special events, Chapel teaching, curriculum support, etc. *Participate in weekly accountability meeting with Age Level Director and all Age Level team meetings and events. *Act as site director for preschool Vacation Bible School held at the Cape Campus.
Requirements/Qualifications:*A strong and growing personal commitment to Jesus Christ. *Commitment to Grace Church and her vision. *A minimum of one year’s experience with children’s ministry. *Associates degree or higher. *Team oriented and able to work with a variety of people. *Proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to learn internet-based
