Description/Responsibilities:Chances are, you went into engineering because you excelled in math and science. Next leap of faith – use your problem-solving skills gained through engineering to address one of the world’s most complicated and important systems – healthcare. As a Technical Services Engineer with Epic you’ll work with some of the most respected medical institutions in the country, advising them on best practices for their organization and cracking their toughest problems. Over 40% of the U.S. population is served by hospitals using Epic software, as well as many people internationally. The work that you do will likely influence the lives of those close to you. After receiving comprehensive training to become an expert in our software, you’ll develop the strong relationships that will make you a trusted source of technical knowledge for your customers, ensuring their organizations’ continued success. Technical Services is a dynamic role where no two days are the same, requiring quick thinking, collaboration, and the drive to create world-class healthcare. Our Integration Engineer serves as a jack-of-all-trades to our customers through the implementation of our software, troubleshooting issues, and building bridges across separate systems to ensure the accurate and safe transmission of patient information. Requirements/Qualifications:Requirements • BS/BA or greater in engineering or other hard science with strong academic performance • Resourceful and confident under pressure • Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience • Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship • Relocation to Madison, WI (reimbursed)
